Divine Mother of Children Foundation (DMOCF)August 3rd 2025

Ten years ago I said yes.
Yes to the cry of the widow.
Yes to the silent tears of the orphan.
Yes to love, to compassion, and to a vision that has now touched hundreds of lives.
As I look back on this ten year journey of the Divine Mother of Children Foundation my heart is full of gratitude, of awe, of hope.
We began with a single story. Mrs. Ime, a widow with six children, had no home, no food, and no hope. Her children had dropped out of school. She was drowning in despair. But love found her. Through your support she now runs a small business with dignity. All her children are back in school and her first daughter is now a skilled tailor. That story marked the beginning of our mission to restore dignity where life has stolen it.
Since then we have walked into broken homes, cradled rejected children, paid hospital bills, placed orphans back in school, trained and empowered widows, and given a voice to the voiceless. We did this not because we had it all but because we believe that every child deserves to be happy.
To all our partners, donors, volunteers, and friends across Nigeria and beyond, thank you. You are the reason this vision still breathes. Your sacrifices, your faith, your giving, and your prayers are the bricks with which we have built hope in forgotten places.
We also remember the moments that broke us. The abandoned child with special needs found in a ravine. The mother who could not afford medicine for her child. The boy who almost lost his leg because of poverty. In those moments our resolve only deepened. We knew then what we know now.
This work must continue.
As we celebrate DMOCF at ten years we do so not with fanfare but with deep reflection and renewed purpose.
There is still much to do. There are still many Mrs. Imes waiting. Many children hoping. Many lives needing someone to say yes.
And we will not stop!
Looking ahead we commit to doing even more. To building a home for children with special needs. To expanding access to education. To deepening our reach across communities. With God’s help and your continued support the next ten years will be greater than the last.
From the depths of my heart thank you.
God bless you. God bless the Divine Mother of Children Foundation.
Together we can do more.
With love and humility,
Mrs. LilyWhite Imafidon,
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Divine Mother of Children Foundation
